Table Decorations

It is a touch of art, science and experience to design a table which is both beautiful and functional. Your guests and you should feel amazed, be taken up with the occasion, and still have enough space to eat, look around, talk freely and add to everyone's enjoyment on your special day.

Table decorations are fashion driven! What you see here is just a tiny fraction of what we have done over the years and that's still only a fraction of what we can do. We guide you with our experience, and examples again, that we show you, to help you make the right choices for you, your function and your guests. Amazement is the effect you can create when you pay enough attention to the shape, flowers, flower arrangements, candelabra and candles you choose to use, on your guests' tables, and even the main bridal table.

When you decide on round tables or square tables or very long tables, you immediately alter the choices available to you for decorating those tables. You can create a simple flower arrangement and then repeat it for great effect on a long table, or you can create a larger, more colourful, arrangement of flowers that still allow guests to make eye contact easily across the table. Should you choose wooden, bronze or silver candelabra? What colour are the walls at your venue? How much light is provided? How much light are you really going to need?

Candles are a traditional and favourite choice for wedding receptions. They provide for a sense of the slowly passing time, they help set the right mood and tone of the event. They are warm, and glowing, and their own life infuses all that they illuminate. Modern uses such as floating candles, traditional uses of long thin candles, and just great big rectangular candles all provide a sense of presence, an effect, that you just cannot duplicate with any other form of table lighting.
